Lifetime power train warranty is a joke. Was told when I purchased the vehicle, "anything oil touches is covered", by my salesman Larry. I understand what normal wear and tear is, and it should not be covered, but 4 quarts of oil consumed in 2,000 miles is not normal wear and tear. This consumption test done by the dealership at just over 50,000 miles. Also not covering oil pressure sensor, oil cooler lines, and drive line seals at 70,000 miles. All of which my mechanic at a different dealership, says he hardly ever sees these issues on a truck with this kind of milage. Don't let the "lifetime warranty" gimmick get you.
II recently was looking for a good, used vehicle, with low miles and saw a 2016 Camry on the website and called the dealership and was referred to sales consultant April Johnson. I asked her about the car and she said it was a very nice auto. I drove 75 miles to look at it and drive it and found it to be a very clean, low mileage car. April filled it with fuel and told me to take it home and show it to my wife, which I did. April stayed in contact with me throughout the two days I had the car wondering how we liked it,dealership which we did. I brought it back to the dealership, told her we wanted to buy the car and have a trailer hitch installed on it, which she ordered. I then met with Darwin Pike to go over the numbers for price and payments, which we agreed to, filled out all of the paperwork and I was on my way with a great car! April was absolutely phenomenal as a sales person, answered all of my questions, and was very patient. I have purchased a lot of vehicles in my life and this was by far the most enjoyable purchase I've been through. April and Darwin were wonderful to work with!
I don't know how to respond to the owner so I will edit my review for my response to being fake. NO this is by no means a fake review. Fake name "YES" it's my secondary email with a funny name. My review was "SPOT ON" I have no reason to not tell the truth. As the review mentions their con artist behavior is disturbing to me. Go in and see for yourself!! I don't get how my review doesn't make sense. I sat in the lobby with the other customers listening to you service department tactics with customers. I understand you trying to discredit a negative review. Hopefully this review might motivate you to do the right thing. My beef is not with not honoring your initial word of the warranty and all. It's with the pressure tactics I witnessed.. Period!! I will not read this post again. I did not write this review to get in a pissing match. I think your correct response simply should have been we will look into our policies. EOM
Well. I'm not really a big fan of their service department. I sat in the lobby for 2 hours with no updates for a check engine light. The outcome was kind of a joke. It was supposed to be warrantied which was great. Got a call next day and said I needed to pay. That's fine stuff happens. However, while sitting in the lobby for soooooo long I listened to their service department try to con every single customer into more services. Especially the elderly seemed to be targeted. Example: A nice lady I'm guessing 80ish was told winter is coming and her battery tested good but she should get it replaced just in case? The guy pressured her over and over and over!!! I was actually thinking of buying a new truck there. NOW I will never go back and recommend against it to all my friends!!!
